After a basement flood, this client was looking for quick work to update their non-functional basement. Long, narrow rooms and an unfortunate column placement created awkward spaces that didn’t function for their family. By working with a structural engineer, we were able to find a solution to remove the column. New wall and door locations allowed us to reimagine how the space could be utilized. As drink connoisseurs, the clients wanted a speakeasy-vibe in their wet bar, adjacent to a lighter space to entertain with a fireplace and TV.
